- originated
in 2004, in an effort to bring great live music to
audiences of all ages. Musical selections performed by
FOG clearly illustrate each member's diverse
taste. Their collective desire is to bring this
musical diversity to the public with a professionalism
and enthusiasm rarely seen in today's musical groups.
The accumulative experience of FOG is readily
apparent from the moment they begin performing.
Outstanding vocals and instrumentation sets the group
apart from all of their musical
counterparts.
-
- was
the ideal band for corporate functions, weddings, golf
outings, car shows, grand openings and any other
private functions where excellent live entertainment
is a must. Professional performances, appropriate
attire, and quality sound and lighting equipment
enables FOG to entertain for groups as small as
100 or as large as 2000.
-
- Geoff
Pomeroy
easily
handled the guitar work and sang lead on "Your Smilin'
Face", "Wonderful Tonight" and many
others.
-
- Buddy
Campbell
skillfully took care of the bass and was featured
vocally on such tunes as "One More Day", "Evil Ways"
and others.
-
- Willie
Carr
was the band's heartbeat on drums and sangs lead on
songs such as "China Grove", "If You Don't Know Me By
Now" and several others.
-
- Michael
Kontras
filled
in with keyboards and added the lead vocals to many
songs including "Piano Man" and "Reelin' In The
Years."
-
- The
group disbanded in 2005. Willie went on to play in
several different bands. Geoff continued his musical
work with his church. Buddy dropped out of music until
2010, when a reunion of his band from the 1970's
reformed. Michael continued with recording projects
and live performances as a solo artist. He now
performs with THESE GUYS LIVE.

-
- Comments
from our audiences:
-
- "It's
hard to believe there's only four guys on
stage!"
-
- "They
are so easy to dance to."
-
- "I
saw them at their very first job and I couldn't
believe it. They sure didn't sound like they just
finished rehearsals."
-
- "We
have a neighborhood block party every year and until
now, we had to settle for average bands.
FOG will defintely be asked to
perform once we've scheduled the date. We know our
friends and neighbors will love
'em!"
-
- "This
is the way a band is supposed to
sound!"
-
- "For
3 years, we've used DJs for our golf outing parties,
not because of the cost, but because the available
bands just didn't appeal to our group. FOG certainly
changed that this past year. We've already booked them
for next year."
-
- "Don't
let the name fool you. Four
Old Guys
certainly don't sound old!"
-
- "I've
seen bands that have been together for years that
don't sound as good."
