REFLECTION began rehearsals in January, 1975, after nearly two months of auditions by Michael Kontras and Pete Goldhardt, whose goal was to find a guitarist and bassist that could play well and sing even better. After three months of rehearsals, the band debuted in April. The success of that first engagement kicked off a bookings wave that had the band booked until January, 1976 in just two months.
