1978 saw the first member change for the original REFLECTION membership. Guitarist / pedal Steel guitarist / vocalist, Mark Harbold replaced guitarist / vocalist, Dan Westbrock. Mark first worked with the group in the recording studio playing the pedal steel on "Friend."

Because Dan Westbrock was no longer a member of the group, it was decided that a new B-side needed to be recorded for the 45 RPM single released in 1977. The live favorite, "Mack the Knife" was picked. The cover was also changed.

In the fall of 1978, guitarist / vocalist, Bob Ochsendorf, was added to the group for additional vocal and musical strength. The picture below was taken by a fan.
